Get ready! This is the Release Date for Microsoft Flight Simulator

After a long wait, Microsoft finally officially announced the release date of the new Flight Simulator 2020 game series. The flight simulation game is scheduled to be released on August 18, 2020.

This good news was announced directly by Jorg Neumann, as Head of The Franchise of Xbox through his official website. In his upload, Neumann said that the game, which was first launched in 1982, could be pre-ordered starting Tuesday (14/7/2020) via Windows 10 or via Xbox Game Pass for PC (beta).

“We are very pleased and humbled by the support and dedication that has spurred the Flight Sim community over the past 38 years. Since the launch of the first ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ in 1982, we know that finally this is the right time to develop the next generation, ”Neumann wrote in a blog post.

Carrying 4K Technology

From the monitoring of Kabar Games, the latest version of Microsoft Flight Simulator will come with the future 4K technology. Where this technology as seen in the teaser looks so realistic that it is closer to the actual conditions.

By taking some information from the Bing Maps database and Azure cloud service, the angles on the satellite also look like the real thing, which is amazing. Apart from presenting amazing graphics quality, this game will also give you the sensation of playing a visual game with challenging missions.

Just imagine, this game features a landscape of 37 airports with the addition of billions of building accents. It’s not enough, the visualization of this game is also supported by mountains, weather and various animals. There is another default weather mode that allows you to adjust temperature, humidity, and rain.

The image quality through the point of view of satellite imagery also looks realistic, aka almost close to the original image or condition. The graphic quality that is served in this online game itself can look like the real world because it is processed with machine learning technology.

Bugalaga Runway in Papua

For information, if you follow the news about Microsoft Flight Simulator regarding the presence of 30 airports, surely you will already know that there is one airport in Indonesia that will be included in the game. Yep, the airport is Bugalaga Airport, which is in Biandoga, Intan Jaya Regency, Papua. Unlike airports in general which are equipped with adequate facilities such as terminals for passengers, this airport is far from being feasible.

In this flight simulation game, the airport in the Papua region is called the Bugalaga Airstrip. This is because besides the surface it is still hard and grassy soil. The airport also has a small runway that is usually used for pilot aircraft.

I don’t know what reason made the airport into the game by Microsoft. What is clear, the location is at the top of a hill, about 5,700 feet above sea level. And its beautiful scenery makes Bugalaga airport very worthy to fill this Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 game.
